We are a small dog grooming business, trained by the Australian Dog Grooming School, catering to the needs of small dogs (up to about 15-20kgs). We specialise in Schnauzers, mini and toy Poodles, small Oodles, and a range of mixed breeds.
Located in Northcote, we strive to create a relationship between us, the pup, and the owner. It is this relationship that leads to beautiful results and happy pups.
We generally clip on Saturdays and Sundays, but if you need a week day cut, please get in touch with Fiona and we’ll see if we can get you in.
All dogs are hand washed in quality shampoo, designed especially for dogs. Of course, if you have any special products for your dog, we are happy to use those.
Services
Haircut $85-$95
We will give your dog a bath and a blow dry and an overall haircut. We can discuss style and length on the day.
Wash and tidy $60
This is often called a maintenance groom, also good for a puppy 6 months and under.
For a long or medium coated dog, we will give your dog a bath and blow dry and a good brush to make sure that there are no knots.
For a short coated dog, we will we will give your dog a bath and blow dry and furminate to remove loose hair.
Extras
Nail clipping $10
We will always check your dog’s nails, but if you need a trim or tidy up between clips, we can do this too.
Face trim $15
Need a quick tidy up, no problem!
Pads cleaned and shaved $15
This is especially useful for long haired dogs who get grass seeds and other nature stuck in paws.
Policies
1. Cancellations
- Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 24 hours notice.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer.
2. No-Shows
It is considered a “no-show” when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule.
- We reserve the right to charge the FULL grooming fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a “no-show”. Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule when possible to avoid such situations. An appointment will not be rebooked until payment is made.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason.
3. We do not subject dogs to the painful process of de-matting. We will need to do a full clip to allow your dog to start fresh. We will discuss this before the groom.
4. We do NOT offer anal gland expression, as this should be performed by a licensed veterinarian.
5. If your dog shows aggression during the grooming process, an ‘Aggressive Fee’ may apply. The safe application of a muzzle may also be necessary for a short amount of time for our safety.
6. Our grooming prices include 2 hours of care. Any time after this will be charged at $15 per hour of care.
7. Photos and videos are regularly taken for social media purposes, please inform the team if you do not want your dog involved.
